Projects #1- Crazy Love

Do you ever invision something in your head and then are NOT content until you make that vision a reality? This is something that I go through all the time, and this week's project is something that I completed a couple days ago after hearing the song 'Crazy Love' -Hawk Nelson on the radio. I loved the song so much that I knew I'd have to create something using the title and lyrics. And so this is what I came up with...((you can listen to the song by clicking on the link 'Crazy Love' above)) ;)

So I started out with a piece of blank canvas and painted over it with black acrylic paint. It took 3 coats to get it just right :)

 I made these flowers...which I am now seriously OBSESSED with making...so much fun!

 The 'Love' piece was already a chipboard cut-out. I left it in its original white and went over it with a ((very))stiff paintbrush dipped in red paint.

Yeah, more little roses...and chipboard letters that I painted white to go with my project.

Cute!

 Has it seriously been over 2 weeks since I last said I was "back on track"? lol=) I am with the layouts, but NOT with taking the pictures=( --So this is a LO I did last week. And I know, the pics aren't that good but bear with me! lol

 Aren't those faces hillarious? But then cute at the same time=) Mm-hmm...baby girl is starting to express herself!...ALOT! We rarely see her NOT smiling these days--which is definately a good thing=)

  Aren't those letters awesome? I found 'em on a 99-cent isle. Not bad at all for 99-cents! =)

The journaling says: Look at you! You are just the cutest thing ever! At only 2 months, you are starting to show off the cutest face expressions- and getting lots of feedback. But then again, when you are as cute as you are...people just can't resist.

Magical...

Hey peeps! and happy thursday=)

So I made these flowers using cardstock, gold brads, and a little bit of "bling" =)

 One of my sisters took this pic while we were at disneyland last year. I love this picture so much because it just so....awesome! lol!

One of my favorite things about scrappin' is the journaling. Alot of times I won't know what to write down, so I just leave it blank. But when I do that it's like I left the most essential part of the page out!

-So I have another shadowbox to show you.

Back on "track"! -- she is beautiful...

 O....M.....G!!!!!  I can't even begin to tell you how busy i've been lately! Babysitting, track, grad. parties, school, you name it- i've been doing it! But its good to be back and on track=)

Now this is a lo that I did a couple of months ago.  (Note: Infact, the LOs that I post within the next few days are probably gonna be ones that I put together at least 2 months ago! I just haven't been keeping up with them and taking pics) =( So anyways, ...I wanted to make this lo really fun (to match with that awesome/fun/cute paper!). I used lots of bright colors and made some fun flowers to go along=)

So cute!

-So speaking of "track", I was so blessed to be able to coach elementary track  for my homeschool group this year. My kids (and all the other kids on our team ranging from 1st to 8th grade) did an AWESOME job and their hard work and determination payed off! Our team placed 2nd out of 20 teams in the valley! Awesome huh!

 Shadow boxes!!!

 Now I made this a couple days ago. The little box that I used had been laying around our house for-EVER! Then one day i decided to stop passing it by, so I picked it up and decided to use it! Cute huh=)

I love these colors!

This shadowbox is sitting on a shelf in my room now=)

Memories~

Well I'm (finally) back and with a lo too! lol

So this is a lo that I did using a pic of one of my younger brothers. He's 8 and is always so "talkative", asking at least 100 questions a minute! But when he does stop to study something, it's as if his whole "normal" world stops and he's just taking it all in =)

I'm so happy 'cause it's finally sunny and warm out now so I can start taking my pictures outside!

I din't know what to say for the journaling, so I looked up a bunch of quotes about memories and singled this one out =)

I love the "after-effect" of stitching(even though it takes a really long time and it really gets on my nerves!! lol =))

I had been wanting to use this pic for the looongest time, but I just didn't know how to use it. You know what I mean? Then I was digging through some scrappy stuff and I found a few things, put them together, and now I'm happy! LOL!

New baby girl is doing fabulous! She has reddish hair and huge eyes that are always looking around!

I have lots more LOs that I would looove to post as soon as I get pictures taken of them! I'm heading to Denver tomorrow with dad and 2 of my sisters, and I won't be back 'till Sunday. So as soon as I get back I will have those LOs posted!

Hey peeps! Yep, still keepin' very bust around here, so these pics of our newest addition to the fam are a little late=)

Here's one of my little bros w/ baby girl=)

And this is me holding baby girl for the first time. I think it was like 2 days after she was born when I got to hold her! And to this day I've still only held her maybe 5 times. Not kidding!,  but that's what happens at my house when you have 8  sibs who are totally baby crazy! (as you can see in the pic, there's a waiting line behind me=) lol!
