Sketch your heart out.

Hey guys! Hope you're having an amazing thursday....Tomorrow is Friday! Yay!!!

 So I've posted just a bunch of random things that I've done over the week. I CAN say that I do sketch my heart out. A little piece of my heart and time goes into even the smallest things that I create. Oh, and I really, really, really want this shoe...

Months gone by...

...and I have (without fail) posted not one single thing. Eh, too busy with facebook and whatnot ;) BUT, i'm officially giving FB a break, and am going to be foccusing on blogger for a while.
So, what's new? Fall is JUST around the corner(yay!) I am an official barista at Starbucks in Albertsons after moving up from being a front-end carryout. Woohoo! I'm officially going to college next year and am studying sports medicine...never saw that one coming, huh! And I'm living life to the fullest and God's got my back:)

                                                             So, a couple of things here.
 

                                        This is one of my most recent "creations". Simple, but fun.

I was totally honoured by having a close friend of ours ask me to design her a tattoo. This is a rough draft of what she wants. Exciting!!!

Oh, and my newest obsession? Pen and ink!

Oh, and speaking of tattoos! I'm officially getting this done on my back for my 17th birthday! This symbol, "not of this world", touches me all the way down to my soul. I'm in love with it.

.Sketches and what-not.

Hey guys! How about this weather? Ok, well I guess it really depends on where you live...but I like to admit that where I live the weather is super gorgeous right now and that definitely makes me happy. :)
So what have I been up to lately? LOTS of stuff. I'm graduating early! Next year! I applied for a job at Starbucks(keep your fingers crossed!) I'm in the middle of finishing up a college-level writing class on the great works of C.S. lewis...I could create a whole other blog on that topic alone! And i've been drawing and creating away to my heart's content. Now you know what I've been up to.

So for this post I thought it be fun to share some of my sketches (hence the title =p)

I would always read Calvin and Hobbes when I was younger and I still love them!

This water-color sketch was inspired my a project that I had to complete for my writing class.

My attempt at a grand piano. I do play the piano, so this water-color sketch wasn't on impulse. =)
Oh, and fun/random fact: I was asked by a local art seller to have an identical print made!

So I drew this a month ago, posted it on facebook, and was asked by a person to have a copy drawn. So I drew another exactly like it and recieved $20 in return! Haha, not much but I was stinkin' excited!

Projects #3 - Unique

Hey guys! Ok, so Christmas is over...and i hope you had a super fabulous one!!! So like i was saying...Christmas is over and the New Year is only 4 days away! I don't know about you, but i'm super excited for that day. Two reasions why...(1). My b-day happens to be on that day:) (2). It's the beginning of a whole new year! I love it...getting together with friends and fam, partying the night away, making new year's resloutions and planning to stick the them :D LOL., and just the whole thought and reality of it being a NEW year! You gotta love it!

So i did this project a couple of weeks ago and had a BLAST making and putting it together! So much fun.

One of the many things i'm totally in love with is painting, especially when it's on a nice piece of canvas. So I felt one day like being totally random and creative...and as a result, I came up with what is the messy  background for this project:)

I took a pair of old jeens and cut our the heart(this seriously has to be my fave part :] )...then added the little stitched wording rectangles(I did NOT make these...i'm not that talented. lol!

Projects #2 - Laugh & Love

 Hey guys, and happy '1st of December' :) Wow, this year has gone by SO fast!!! I can't believe it's already december...!!!

 Ok, so this week I have a wall-hanger to show you that i made entirely from scraps. Super fun, super cute, and SUPER easy! Gotta love 'em :)

 Isn't this butterfly absolutely gorgeous??? Definately the icing on the cupcake.

 Mm-hmm...more paper roses(thanks Rita for teaching me!!! You know who you are:] )

                                                        And a little bit of ribbon...love it.
Soo...last month was extremely crazy!!! I'm so excited for this new month. But, one thing that definately stood out from last month was...one of me and my sister's favorite bands 'Everfound' came to town! It was an AMAZING experience and show...something that we were able to experience together with friends and that we'll never forget :D If you've never heard of Everfound, then you have to check them out! They're entire band consists of 4 christian brothers who moved here to the USA 14 years ago from Russia. Check em out here!
