Finally!!

Yah! I finaly got some inspiration for a new layout! But...you'll have to wait a couple of days to see the layout:) Me and my fam just got back from a little trip to my grandparents place, and they live waaaay out there in the country so it was nice to get away from the "city" for a couple of days=) And trust me, me and the rest of my fam are NOT city folks.  So its always nice to go and visit family who live in the country=) AND I got some good pics for new layouts; i'm so excited!!
  Ugh! My camera is not taking good pics lately. So i've tryed all the lighting positions: a dark room with a light, out it the sun, in the shade, ect. So i don't know whats goin on. Dont get me wrong, i'm not complaining=) But it gets a little frustrating when your camera doesn't take good pics. You know what i mean?=) So hopefully i will find a good spot soon for taking layout pictures! Any suggestions anyone??? Well come back soon to see my new layouts!!!

Takin a Break

So your may have noticed that I haven't been posting any layouts lately. The reason for that is, well actually I have several reasons=) The first is, every year I teach a preschool class and it just started so I've been extremely busy with that. And the 2nd reason is I haven't been "inspired" lately. I always scrap what I feel, and when ever I get inspired to scrap a layout and go right to my "happy place"/bedroom=) and scrap away! But lately nothing has come to me. I'm working on one page right now, but it is slowly coming along. And trust me, usually I scrap 2 to 3 layouts a day, but this layout is taking a loooong time!!!! So I will be back soon with more layouts!!! And also a few projects that i'm working on! =)

Julie & Julia (My own version=)

You might have seen my little icon over on the right that says "Days until the end of my Julie Julia project", but I didn't think about explaining what it is!!! So thanks R.Barakat for suggesting it! Okay, so last month me, my sisses, and mom all went to see the new movie Julie & Julia. It was such a fun movie to watch! But while I was watching it I got this great "sensation". In the movie, Julie is a 21st century lady who wants to cook her way through Julia Child's ( a 20th century lady cook) "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" cook book and write a blog about it. So, Julie sets out to cook 500 recipes in 365 days. I  thought that it would be fun to do something crazy like that! So I came up with my own version, create and post 300 layouts in 365 days. It sounds crazy huh! And I'm not even sure if I'll make the dead-line. I mean, 300 layouts is alot! But it would totally be worth it and I would be doing something that I absolutely love and I would have fun at the same time! I started posting layouts on my other blog, and then I ran out of file space. So, now I'll start posting my layouts here! So here's todays layout=)

This layout is of my 3 bros, and the only 3 boys out of 9 kids! And they're absolutely 100% all boy!!!

I found this kit on shabbyprincess.com. It was totally perfect for this layout so I was so excited!

When the the oldest bro saw the flowers he immediately said, "Flowers?!" He was in shock! lol But hey! It's my scrapbook!

I had lots of fun stringing the pictures. On the papers before the pics, it has the boy's 1st & middle name.

After all the pics I put on the page, I had no room for the little journaling tag, so I strung it up and the end=)

Me and Mom

So this layout is plain & simple, but sweet=) I took the pic at this AMAZING chinese fast food place on our family trip to cali (I know, you're thinking chinese fast food amazing??? But it really was!) Sorry the pic is so blury,  I'm having a "bad" camera day=) But at least you get to see the layout!

HE knew that I'd need a savior

Wow. So many things have been going on lately. In fact, just 2 days ago my dad was on a car wreck. He was riding on his motorcycle and on his way home when an elderly man pulled out infront of him. My dad was going the speed limit (which was 50mph) and rammed into the side of the car. He flew over the car and hit the pavement. He banged up his knee real bad and also got some real good cuts and bruises. He and my mom went to the emergency room after they guided the tow truck with my dads motorcycle home. They were at the hospital till 1:30 in the morning! That was a really looong night of "babysitting"=) When my parents got home most of us wre laying on the living room floor half asleep with the t.v. on!

Okay, now for todays layout=)

I usually tend to go overboard with layouts, so on thi sone I made sure that the only thing that I went overboard with was the flowers=)

Yah! I just painted on canvas for the first time! I know, I know, I just painted on canvas for the first time??? I mean, I'm always painting but never on canvas! So I thought that it was fun=) When me and my fam took a trip to Cali to visit my aunt & uncle we went to their church one sunday and the ride there was absolutley amazing!!! It felt like we wre in the mountains but we were actually right in the city! Seriously! So most of the time we drove through these amazingly pretty hills of yellow, green, and brown. So pretty!!! So I took a pic of the hills then painted it for my uncles b-day(which is coming up soon!)

Well, here it is! I reall wish that I could have made it look more realisic, but hey! I am still learning=)

Okay, now for todays layout=)

This layout is a perfect example of how I can go overboard with scrapbook layouts. I could have done 1 simple picture, a couple of embellishments, but I had to do 5 pics, and a million embellishments! yeah, I go a little crazy when it comes to scrapbooking=)

New blog!

Okay, so first of all, I have a new blog! lol and 2nd of all, the reason I switched was because on webs.com you have only a certain amount of file space and I posted so many layouts on there that I ran out of space!!!! So yeah. Well I hope that this time I have lots of space! lol
